About the Role: 
America's Service Station in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor/Writer to join our team! Responsibilities: 

• Greet customers and conduct vehicle walkarounds to assess service needs and concerns
• Write accurate and detailed repair orders based on customer descriptions and technician inspections
• Communicate vehicle diagnosis, recommended repairs, and service timelines clearly to customers
• Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals prior to initiating repairs
• Coordinate workflow between customers and service technicians to ensure timely vehicle completion
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and notify them of any additional repairs or delays
• Upsell preventative maintenance services and additional repairs based on vehicle inspections
• Process payments and review completed repair orders with customers at vehicle delivery

Requirements:
 

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar customer-facing auto service role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance schedules, and repair terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a high-volume service environment
• Experience with auto service management software (AllData, Tekmetric, RO Writer, or similar)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
