Position Overview
Jones Family of Dealerships is seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, developing high-performing teams, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Foster a culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, and timely service
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Implement processes that drive profitability, efficiency, and customer retention
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
- Collaborate with sales, parts, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service management, preferably within a dealership environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of automotive repair processes, parts, and industry standards
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
