Haddad Subaru of St. Albans is seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the service operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and a motivated team. You will be the key point of contact between customers, technicians, and management, driving performance and maintaining high standards while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily service department operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Supervise and support service technicians, advisors, and support staff.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, parts inventory, and labor hours.
- Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and track department profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and technical skills.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer experience and business success.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive repair processes, diagnostics, and parts management.
- Familiarity with service management software and business operations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant degrees are a plus.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to St. Albans, VT.
