The purpose of this position is to train to become a service technician, working in cooperation with the Team Leader and/or Trainer to learn the shop process and how to use available shop resources.

Must be able to drive and operate vehiclePerform the procedures with the assistance of Team Leader and/or Trainer while training toward Certification. (See Technician Job Description)Examine vehicle and discusses with the Team Leader the nature and extent of damage or malfunctionPlan work procedure in cooperation with the Team Leader and/or TrainerMaintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operationAble to obtain State Inspector's licenseAdhere to dress code in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standardsKeep work area clean and tidy in accordance with dealership standardsKnow and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and utilize the program to achieve client satisfactionKnow and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policy, and adhere to its requirementsAttend weekly department meetingsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for three or more hours at a timeHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be at least eighteen years of ageMust have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirementsMust be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
