Dallas Direct Auto is expanding our service department and seeking an ASE-Certified Automotive Service Technician to support our high-volume dealership. We carry a wide variety of clean-title vehicles—cars, trucks, and SUVs from many manufacturers—so technicians enjoy consistent work and strong flag-hour potential.

 

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and maintaining the reliability standards our dealership is known for.

 

 

Pay / Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Perform all work listed on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and A/C

  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify needed repairs

  • Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor on findings, timelines, and recommendations

  • Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

  • Conduct pre-sale inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet dealership reliability standards

 

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience preferred

  • ASE Certification required

  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair abilities (B-Level Technician)

  • Ability to operate modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools

  • Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to continue developing professionally

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent
