Automotive Service Technician

Capital Ford of Lillington is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering quality repairs and exceptional service. What You'll Be Doing

• Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems to identify concerns and verify repairs. 
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs or services needed. 
• Provide accurate estimates of the time required for additional repairs. 
• Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance 
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record 
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings
