What You'll Do
  • Diagnose vehicle issues across engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems
  • Perform all repair work specified on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to verify repairs
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional needs and provide accurate time estimates
  • Execute warranty repairs in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications
  • Inspect vehicles and document findings clearly on repair orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow shop safety standards
What We're Looking For
  • Ford certification preferred but not required
  • B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • 2+ years of service technician experience preferred; prior experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
  • ASE certification preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and the manual dexterity required for precision repair work
  • Ability to work through repair orders independently while communicating clearly with the service team
  • Basic computer competency and comfort learning new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
