    Responsibilities of an Automotive Service Technician:

    • Perform multipoint safety inspection on all vehicles.
    • Adhere to high ethical standards.
    • Remain current with all training required to maintain Certification.
    • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
    • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
    • Communicate with service advisor effectively on all updates.
    • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
    • Road tests vehicles when required.
    • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
    • Ensures customer’s cars and work area are kept clean.

    Requirements:

    • Must have a Valid driver’s license.
    • Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience required.
    • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
    • Ability and desire to constantly learn and improve mechanical skills.
    • Certification or desire to obtain certification in all ASE standards.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Team player.
    • Computer literate.
    • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
