Quirk Ford of Augusta is looking for shipping & receiving help. We are looking for someone to do shipping, receiving. You must have a valid driver license with a clean record.
Job Summary:The Automotive Shipping and Receiving Associate will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of automotive parts and products. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming automotive parts and products, inspect for damage, and verify quantities and specifications.
Organize and store parts in designated warehouse locations.
Prepare automotive products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions in the inventory management system.
Conduct regular inventory checks and stock replenishment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist in resolving shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in the automotive industry.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping/receiving software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs)
Basic understanding of automotive parts and products (preferred).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities
Works with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
Completes special order parts requests
Performs other duties as assigned
Serves as backup to stocking clerk as necessary
Communicates with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
