$75,000 – $100,000+ (Base + Profit Sharing & Bonuses)
A well-established and highly respected automotive repair shop in Lawrence, KS is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Manager to lead operations and drive performance. This is a great opportunity for a results-driven leader who is passionate about customer service, team development, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Drive team performance, productivity, and morale
- Oversee workflow, scheduling, and repair timelines
- Manage inventory and control costs
- Ensure excellent customer experience and communication
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve results
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of automotive management experience
- 3+ years as a Service Advisor
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes
- Proven leadership and people-management skills
- Experience with business operations and performance metrics
- Familiarity with Tekmetric and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) preferred
- Proficiency with shop management software and tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Understanding of workflow, flat-rate pay systems, and shop efficiency
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
