Automotive State Inspection Technician | Up to $50 Flat Rate
Location: Olney, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus two Saturdays per month (7:00 AM–12:00 PM)
Pay: $35–$50 Flat Rate
Earning Potential: Up to $110,000+ annually
We are looking for an experienced Automotive State Inspection Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a production-minded technician who enjoys inspections, quality repairs, and consistent workflow.
What You'll Do
- Perform Maryland State Safety Inspections.
- Diagnose and complete repairs required for vehicles to pass inspection.
- Perform general automotive repairs as needed.
- Accurately document inspections and repair recommendations.
- Use shop management software to complete repair orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently while delivering high-quality repairs.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Current Maryland State Inspector License is preferred.
- If not currently licensed, must be willing to obtain the Maryland State Inspector License within the first six months of employment.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- Computer skills.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
