We’re seeking an Automotive Supplier Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager who thrives on building robust systems, solving hard problems, and leading teams to exceptional results.

Role snapshot

  • Function: Lead the plant’s Quality Management System and continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Focus: Customer satisfaction, production support, and compliance with automotive and industry standards.
  • Scope: Internal quality, supplier development/audits, and launch/APQP quality planning.

Key outcomes you’ll deliver

  • Maintain IATF 16949/ISO 9001 compliance and meet customer-specific requirements.
  • Reduce defects, variation, and waste through Lean, SPC, and disciplined problem solving (8D, 5 Why).
  • Close customer, supplier, and internal concerns with verified root cause and effective corrective actions.
  • Execute APQP for new product launches: PFMEA, Control Plans, capability studies, and PPAP readiness.
  • Improve supplier performance via audits, scorecards, and development plans.
  • Develop a capable, engaged quality team and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to hit plant and customer quality targets.

Must-haves

  • BS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing quality with leadership experience.
  • Working mastery of IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, and Lean.
  • History of driving root cause/corrective action and continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced plant with multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Shainin certification.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Exposure to metal forming, cold forming, machining, or comparable processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 EMS.
