Role Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid role, and will require 2 days on site each week.
Design and develop advanced automotive systems such as autonomous driving modules, and vehicle networking systems.
Analyse system requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications, including defining system architecture, and component selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to integrate automotive systems into the overall vehicle design.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during development and production stages. This includes root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a systems engineering environment, ideally with a focus on automotive technology.
Bachelor's in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related IT or Engineering field.
Proficiency in using automotive software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and dSPACE. Knowledge of programming languages including Python or C++ is a plus.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Great problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
Prior experience in an automotive environment is desirable but not essential.
