Wright Tire Company – Cleburne, TX 76033
Pay: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour (Base + Production-Based Bonus)
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role
Wright Tire Company is a long-established staple of the Cleburne community. We have a deep, loyal customer base and steady municipal/commercial contracts that keep our bays full year-round. From daily commuters to city/county fleets and the heavy-duty AG industry, we handle it all.
We aren't just looking for someone to "turn wrenches." We need a reliable pro and diagnostic expert who takes pride in their craft. If you know how to run a bay, handle a wrench, and get it right the first time without being micromanaged, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do:
- Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern scanners and your "real-world" experience to solve complex engine, electrical, and suspension issues. You are expected to find the root cause, not just clear codes.
- Full-Service Repairs: Execute high-quality mechanical repairs—from brake overhauls and water pumps to timing belts—ensuring every job meets OEM standards.
- Precision Tire & Alignment: Perform expert mounting, balancing, and precision alignments for everything from daily drivers to mid-sized trucks.
- Routine Maintenance (LOF): Conduct thorough Lube, Oil, and Filter services, including multi-point safety inspections to catch "down-the-road" problems early.
- Documentation Excellence: Use TCS / Tire Power to meticulously separate Labor Hours from Parts. This is critical for our high-value fleet and government contracts.
- Maintain Standards: Keep an organized bay and perform final quality control checks to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional automotive repair (Required).
- Certifications: ASE Certifications (A1-A8) are a major plus, specifically for candidates with demonstrated high-level hands-on capabilities.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using tablets/computers for digital inspections and work orders.
- License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required).
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced Texas shop environment.
Benefits:
- High Earning Potential: Competitive base pay plus an aggressive production-based bonus structure.
- Stable Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends).
- Reliable Volume: Work for a well-known shop where the phone never stops ringing.
