Neil Huffman Mazda Volkswagen is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in Louisville, KY, offering $35–$45 per flagged hour plus production bonuses. Technicians are paid weekly and receive a 40-hour weekly guarantee during their first two months. The 12-bay service department has consistent workflow and services Mazda, Volkswagen, pre-owned vehicles, and additional makes as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and engine performance concerns
• Complete engine and major mechanical repairs
• Perform brake, steering, and suspension repairs
• Complete vehicle inspections and document repair recommendations
• Mentor less experienced technicians as needed
• Complete quality repairs to manufacturer standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong A-Level diagnostic and repair skills
• Experience with engine and major mechanical repairs
• Ability to produce efficiently in a flat-rate environment
• Own basic technician tools
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Mazda or Volkswagen Certifications and dealership experience preferred
