Introduction

We are seeking an A Level or High-Level B Automotive Technician to join a well-established independent repair facility in Bronx, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diagnostic technician who can independently diagnose complex vehicle concerns, including fuel trim analysis, lab scope usage, and waveform interpretation. You'll work Monday through Friday with no weekends in a relaxed, team-oriented environment servicing domestic, Asian, European, fleet, and light diesel vehicles while receiving ongoing paid training and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using fuel trim analysis, lab scopes, and waveform interpretation.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on fleet vehicles and light-duty diesel trucks under 18,000 GVW.
• Utilize shop technology including Autel, Snap-On, and Auto Logic scan tools.
• Document inspections and repair recommendations using Mitchell 1 and AutoVitals.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship while working efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an automotive technician in an independent repair facility or similar environment.
• Ability to independently diagnose complex vehicle issues.
• Experience performing fuel trim analysis, lab scope testing, and waveform diagnostics.
• Proficiency servicing domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Experience using professional diagnostic equipment, including Autel, Snap-On, or Auto Logic scan tools.
• Familiarity with Mitchell 1 shop management software and digital vehicle inspections is preferred.
• Interest in learning automotive glass installation is a plus.
• NY State / Safety Inspection License REQUIRED
