About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced A-Level or Strong B-Level Automotive Technician to join a well-established independent repair shop in Akron, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working on a wide variety of vehicles while continuing to grow through ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle concerns, including electrical, drivability, and engine performance issues
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics using modern scan tools and testing equipment
- Service and repair Domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, engine, and general mechanical repairs
- Service fleet vehicles, including Transit vans, Isuzu NPRs, Sprinter vans, and similar commercial vehicles
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with the service team
- Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, organized work environment
- Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development
Qualifications
- Three or more years of professional automotive repair experience
- A-Level Technician preferred; strong B-Level Technician with solid diagnostic ability will also be considered
- Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in an independent repair shop or dealership environment
- Ability to consistently produce 40 or more billed hours per week
- Pennsylvania State Safety and Emissions Inspection License preferred and required after hire
- Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
Compensation & Benefits
A-Level Technician
- $30-$40 per hour, based on experience and skill level
Strong B-Level Technician
- $28-$35 per hour, based on experience and skill level
