Automotive Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join their team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be an integral part of the service department supporting engineering trials and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Automotive Technician

Location:Allen Park, Michigan

Pay Range: $25-$34/hr DOE plus OT, benefits

What's the Job?

• Support automotive trials with engineering teams and document findings for analysis.
• Perform labor time studies on vehicles and utilize analytical methods to assess task durations.
• Accurately document tasks and project details to ensure thorough record-keeping.
• Read and follow detailed instructions, providing insights for process improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve project issues efficiently.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as an automotive technician (customer will consider entry-level grads as well out of Automotive school preferably with an internship).
• Automotive State and/or ASE certifications are recommended.
• Must provide own tools necessary for the job.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
