Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Candidates must provide their own professional-grade tools required to perform daily job duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on domestic and import vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid replacements.
  • Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, heating and air conditioning, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Accurately document repair orders, parts used, and labor performed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations.
  • Stay current on automotive technology through ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive repair experience (preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience repairing domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must supply your own professional automotive tools.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE Certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience with engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • State inspection or emissions certification (if applicable).
  • Ability to perform flat-rate work efficiently.
