B+ Level Automotive Technician - No Weekends
Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $19–$25/hr + Overtime
Earning Potential: $50,000 – $65,000+ annually (with OT)
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Position Summary
Promotive is hiring a B+ Level Automotive Technician for a well-established, growing shop in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position offering consistent hours, weekly pay, and strong benefits in a team-oriented environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a solid B+ level tech who is confident in mechanical repairs and looking to build diagnostic and electrical skills (has a good understanding of electrical). You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped shop with supportive leadership and access to advanced tools and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on Domestic and Asian vehicles
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, and general automotive repair work
- Support overall shop productivity and workflow efficiency
- Assist with diagnostics and develop electrical troubleshooting skills
- Use modern diagnostic tools including Autel, Zeus, IDS, FDRS, and ATS scope
- Follow digital vehicle inspection (DVI) processes and document findings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician is required
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to complete most repairs independently
- Interest in growing diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with brakes, suspension, and general service work
- ASE certifications preferred (and supported)
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license required
Compensation & Benefits
- $19–$25/hr Depending on Experience
- Consistent overtime available (average 5 hours/week)
