Introduction

We are seeking a B Level Automotive Technician to join a well-established independent repair shop in Buffalo, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive diagnostics, including basic check engine light diagnostics.
• Diagnose and repair suspension, steering, brake, cooling system, and exhaust concerns.
• Perform minor welding and tire service.
• Document inspections and repair orders using the shop's management software.
• Manage repairs from diagnosis through completion while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Communicate repair recommendations with customers
• Deliver excellent customer service while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional automotive shop repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic diagnostic abilities.
• Experience performing brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, exhaust, tire repairs, etc.
• Comfortable using automotive diagnostic equipment and shop management software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Experience in a dealership or independent repair shop environment is welcomed.
