We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced service environment. 


Key Responsibilities


  •  Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards 
  •  Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and complete necessary repairs 
  •  Communicate with Service Manager to obtain required parts 
  •  Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed 
  •  Notify Service Advisor of additional work, unnecessary work, or delays in completion 
  •  Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders 
  •  Conduct road tests when required 
  •  Report equipment defects or malfunctions to supervisor 
  •  Maintain cleanliness and condition of customer vehicles 
  •  Keep shop area clean and organized 
  •  Properly maintain and return all shop tools and manuals 
  •  Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, hazardous waste, etc.) 
  •  Operate tools and equipment safely 
  •  Report safety concerns immediately 
  •  Perform additional duties as assigned 
Qualifications


  •  5+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician 
  •  ASE Certification(s) preferred or in progress 
  •  Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC) 
  •  Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment 
  •  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  •  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 
  •  Ability to lift, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods 
  •  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities 
Working Conditions


  •  Full-time position; occasional overtime may be required 
  •  Work performed in a service bay/garage environment 
  •  Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures 
  •  Frequent standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) 
  •  Use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots) required 
  •  Team-oriented environment focused on safety, efficiency, and customer service
