Automotive Technician

Our Fleet department is responsible for ensuring company equipment and vehicles are clean, serviced, repaired, and safe to operate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of all company vehicles

•Check tire inflation levels and fill to the appropriate psi as needed

•Check and fill fluid & fuel levels as needed

•Assist in transporting vehicles to and from repair/inspection facilities

•Diagnose mechanical failures

•Perform basic preventive maintenance on all fleet equipment (gas and diesel vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks) including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, lubrication, and safety inspections

•Respond to emergency breakdowns to assess, diagnose, and troubleshoot solutions

•Proper documentation of repairs and inspections in accordance with the maintenance schedule

•Other tasks as assigned by the Fleet Director

Minimum Qualifications

•Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)

•Ability to follow directions and work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision

•Regular and prompt attendance is a must for this position

•1-2 years related experience preferred
