**Salary:** $20.00 - $50.00 Flat Rate (based on experience and certifications)

**Job Summary:**
As an Automotive Technician at Bertera Manchester Nissan, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, primarily focusing on Nissan models, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and dealership guidelines. This position offers a competitive flat-rate pay structure based on your skill level and experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues accurately.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair needs, estimated completion times, and any additional services required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards and within manufacturer specifications.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a certification program in automotive technology is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- ASE certification(s) preferred but not required; we encourage technicians to pursue certifications to enhance their skills.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with proficiency in diagnostics and repair; experience with Nissan vehicles is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
