The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles.Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and complex repairs on light-duty vehicles, as well as passenger cars. Qualified candidates should have experience with engine and transmission replacements, timing belt services, engine diagnostics, and a variety of mechanical and electrical repairs. Must have required tools to diagnose and complete various repairs/maintenance. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics using advanced tools, electrical systems, and schematics Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical components Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, inspections) Interpret technical manuals and ADAS data Perform suspension work Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, A/C, electrical, and computer systems Use shop equipment (diagnostic machines, alignment systems, welding tools, etc.) Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay Communicate effectively with service advisors, teammates, and customers regarding repair status and technical diagnoses Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of automotive and/or diesel mechanic experienceMust possess and maintain a personal set of tools required for automotive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair workStrong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses is a plus Valid driver's license with insurable record Must be at least 18 years old Willing to complete a pre-employment drug testAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying conditions ASE certification (A/B/C level) or equivalent experience preferred Vocational/Technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Strong attention to detail Team-oriented with professionalism and strong communication skills BenefitsPaid training and on-the-job training 401(k) plan with company match Paid vacation, PTO, and holidays Medical, dental, life, and AD&D insurance (available after 90 days) Opportunities for performance-based incentivesWhy Work HereFounded in 1986, Eagle Auto & Fleet Service Center has grown from a local fleet repair shop into a trusted full-service facility serving both individual customers and corporate fleets.
