European Diagnostic Technician | $35-$45 Flat Rate | No Weekends

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $35.00-$45.00 Flat Rate (Depending on Experience)
Pay Type: Flat Rate with Weekly Guarantee
Pay Schedule: Weekly 30-Hour Guarantee
Typical Flagged Hours: 30-Hour Weekly Guarantee

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced European Diagnostic Technician to join a well-established, family-operated automotive service group serving the Greater Cincinnati area. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician with advanced European diagnostic experience who takes pride in accurate repairs and exceptional workmanship. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex drivability, electrical, module, and network-related concerns, with a strong focus on European vehicles.
  • Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs including brakes, timing systems, suspension, and general automotive repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles across European brands including Porsche, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, while supporting all makes and models.
  • Document inspections, diagnostic findings, and completed repairs using Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) workflows.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to ensure accurate repair recommendations and timely vehicle delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience with advanced European diagnostic expertise.
  • Strong experience diagnosing complex electrical, drivability, and vehicle network concerns.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently produce flat-rate hours while maintaining high-quality repairs.
  • Proficiency using advanced scan tools and automotive service information systems.
  • ASE certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain them.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Flat-Rate Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per flagged hour, based on experience.

Weekly Guarantee: 30-hour weekly guarantee.

Actual compensation within the stated range will be based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, certifications, demonstrated skills, and the employer's approved pay structure.
