Automotive Technician

Design Hire is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a growing independent repair shop in Henderson. This is a hands-on role for a solid B-level technician who can independently handle general repairs, suspension and brake work, maintenance, and basic engine diagnostics.

We are looking for someone dependable, productive, and motivated who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to grow with a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair common mechanical issues across a variety of makes and models.
  
• Perform suspension, steering, brake, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
  
• Complete basic engine and drivability diagnostics.
  
• Inspect vehicles and accurately identify needed repairs and maintenance.
  
• Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining strong quality standards.
  

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive repair experience required.
  
• Strong general mechanical repair skills.
  
• Experience with suspension, steering, brakes, and preventative maintenance.
  
• Comfortable performing basic engine and drivability diagnostics.
  
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
  
• Valid driver's license.
  
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
  
• Advanced electrical diagnostic experience is not required.
