Location: Empire Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, West Islip, NY

Your Daily Work Schedule:

• Performs work specified in the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

 
Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience working at an automotive dealership
• Graduation from an accredited technical school
• ASE certifications—especially within the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram family (preferred)
• Strong familiarity with the service drive and dealership operations
• Mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting skills
• Steady hand and strong hand-eye coordination
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a fast-paced mindset
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort with diagnostic technology
• Commitment to learning new repair procedures and evolving vehicle technologies
• Ability to collaborate, adapt, and grow within a supportive service environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
