Automotive Technician

AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in Lexington Park is seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to join our team.We are looking for a technician who is comfortable performing diagnostics, general automotive repairs, and routine maintenance while supporting transmission removal and installation work as needed.This position is a good fit for a technician who enjoys solving problems, working efficiently, and continuing to develop their mechanical skills.Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issues
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes and vehicle inspections
• Perform general repairs such as brakes, suspension, cooling system, and basic engine work
• Assist with transmission removal and installation when needed
• Accurately document diagnostic findings and repair work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Experience performing automotive diagnostics and general repairs
• Ability to complete routine maintenance and common mechanical repairs
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Transmission experience is helpful but not required.
