Role Description The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Gervais Auto Exchange in Lowell, MA. This role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance, including multi point inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations, to ensure safe and reliable operation. Performance work and aftermarket modiciations as well. The technician will diagnose and repair mechanical issues, complete maintenance and repair orders accurately, and work on systems such as suspension, brakes, and drivetrains. Responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, following manufacturer specifications and shop procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and documenting all services performed. The technician will collaborate with service advisors and other team members to provide clear information on vehicle condition and recommended repairs, while delivering professional, customer-focused service.

• Strong skills in vehicle maintenance and routine services, including inspections and scheduled maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with oil changes and related fluid services.

• Proficiency in general automotive repair and maintenance & repair tasks across multiple vehicle systems.

• Experience working on suspension components and related alignment or handling issues.
• \n
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.

• Basic computer skills for service documentation and accessing repair information.
• \n
• Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., ASE) or formal training are preferred but not required.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• \n
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to follow established procedures.

• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment, and to stand for extended periods.
• \n
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a diverse team environment.

• Proficiant in Japanese and Euro vehicles
