Modern Chevrolet of Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced GM Diesel Technician to join our team. We are looking for a technician with a strong GM background who is passionate about diagnostics, repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service.

GM Diesel Technician Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain GM diesel vehicles according to manufacturer standards

Perform advanced engine, electrical, fuel system, drivability, and emissions diagnostics

Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards

Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs in accordance with dealership and factory guidelines

Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts

Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required

Road test vehicles as necessary to verify repairs and diagnose concerns

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

GM Diesel Technician Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of GM technician experience required

Diesel diagnostic and repair experience required

GM experience is required

GM certifications preferred

Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

Valid driver's license required

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
