Compensation: Up to $55 per flagged hour, based on experience and qualifications

Overview

A well-established automotive repair operation in Tomah, WI is hiring two Automotive Technician / Mechanics with strong diagnostic skills, quality workmanship, and the ability to consistently flag 50+ hours per week.

If you’re an experienced technician who can accurately diagnose problems, handle complex repairs, and maintain strong production, this is an opportunity to put those skills to work. Diesel experience is a plus, but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns.
• Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs, including engine, steering, suspension, brake, and cooling system work.
• Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes accurately.
• Manage your workflow efficiently with the ability to flag 50+ hours per week while maintaining quality.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and clearly document findings and repair recommendations.
• Communicate with service advisors to support accurate estimates and timely repairs.
• Verify completed repairs and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Master-level automotive diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Proven ability to produce efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or workmanship.
• Experience using modern scan tools, service information, and diagnostic procedures.
• Diesel diagnostic and repair experience is a plus.
• ASE certifications, including Master Technician certification, are preferred.
• Professional attitude, dependable work habits, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $55 per flagged hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• At the top rate, 50 flagged hours equals $2,750 per week.
