Automotive Technician

Start your new career as an Automotive Technician with MAU at Mallaghan in Newnan, GA. As an Automotive Technician, you will build and modify specialty trucks and ground support equipment (GSE) to meet client-specific designs for the aviation industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Automotive paint or bodywork

• Automotive electrical systems

• Carpentry or plumbing

• Light vehicle technology

• Hydraulics or mechanical systems

• Skilled in the use of power or mechanical-based tools

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented

What You'll Do as an Automotive Technician:

• Build and customize trucks and GSE equipment to meet client specifications
• Use power tools such as magnetic drills, hand drills, and impact guns to modify chassis
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce precise, high-quality products
• Meet production targets and safely transport parts throughout the facility
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as part of a team
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
• Perform additional duties as needed
