Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
  • Conduct alignment services and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and parts needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician with dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
  • Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience working with GM vehicles is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about their vehicle needs.
  • Welding skills are a bonus for specialized repairs.
