Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair automotive issues, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
Conduct alignment services and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and parts needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician with dealership experience preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair.
Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working with GM vehicles is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about their vehicle needs.
Welding skills are a bonus for specialized repairs.
