Automotive Technician

Job Summary:
Parkway CDRJ in Pampa, Texas is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements
- Identify and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment
- Repair and replace parts as needed
- Adhere to dealership and manufacturer standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician (certifications preferred)
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and technology
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work weekends if needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
