If you've got the work ethic and the will to grow, we'll give you the tools, the training, and the team to get there. We are in need of a tech with a minimum of 8 years or more shop experience
HERE'S WHAT WE PROMISE OUR TECHS:
- $32–$35/hr to start — based on your current skill level
- Clear path to $38–$42/hr as you advance

- Turning Wrenches is owned and operated by Adrian — I’m here every day. If you've got a question, you can ask me. If something needs to change, the person who can change it is in the building. That's not common anymore. That matters.

- Turning Wrenches has built a loyal Sacramento customer base over 13+ years, with strong word-of-mouth, repeat clients, and a steady book of work — especially on Asian imports (we pick and choose what domestics we will work on). You won't be standing around wondering where the next ticket is coming from.
WORK-LIFE BALANCE (GET YOUR LIFE BACK!)
- Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Closed Saturday. Closed Sunday. No "we open Saturdays now" surprise meetings. We mean it. Your weekends are yours to enjoy!

- We see a wide range of vehicles, with a real specialty in Asian imports — so there's always something to sharpen your skills on. And when you're ready to level up, we invest in the training that gets you there.

- Family-owned, owner-operated, decisions made onsite. Your voice matters here. If something's broken, you can say so — and someone who can actually fix it will be listening. We have a shop lunch two times a month. The last Friday of every month is a shop meeting

Compensation:

Responsibilities:Position Summary
The Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles in alignment with company standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. This role directly impacts customer trust, vehicle reliability, and overall shop performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections following company procedures
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns accurately
- Complete repairs and maintenance services according to approved work orders
- Document findings, recommendations, and completed work clearly and thoroughly
- Maintain productivity and efficiency standards set by the company
- Ensure all work meets quality standards with minimal comebacks
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
- Stay current with training and industry advancements
