Position OverviewWe are seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our busy service department. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain Toyota vehicles, ensuring high-quality service for our customers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with Toyota or ASE certifications, a passion for automotive excellence, and a commitment to efficiency in a high-volume dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Toyota vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and hybrid systems, to meet factory standards.
  • Conduct routine services (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs) and complex repairs for our service customers.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and Toyota-specific software to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
  • Complete multi-point inspections and recommend additional services to enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to dealership and OSHA safety standards.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and communicate repair needs to customers.
  • Stay current with Toyota technical training and certifications to ensure expertise in new models and technologies.
  • Document all repair work accurately in dealership systems for warranty and billing purposes.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a Toyota or high-volume dealership environment.
  • ASE certifications (preferred) or Toyota Technical Training certifications; willingness to pursue certifications if not already certified.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and Toyota-specific systems (e.g., Techstream).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Toyota hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced automotive technologies (e.g., ADAS, infotainment systems).
  • Prior experience in a dealership environment.
