Location: Multiple Locations FLSA Exempt Hiring Range: Adjunct faculty are paid based on a per-credit-hour rate. This rate is determined by the assigned rank and the discipline being taught. Assigned rank is based on a combination of education and teaching experience.

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginias capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach Automotive Technology.
Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment. Salary commensurate with education and experience of the applicant.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree in Automotive Technology with demonstrated competency in the field. Two years of occupational experience and the ASE Automotive Service Excellence certification. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the colleges pre-employment security screening.
Additional Considerations
Considerable teaching experience in a secondary, private, or community college automotive/diesel setting. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development. Demonstrated experience with teaching distance education classes. Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional and faculty responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding, and inclusion is preferred.
