Ed Morse is currently seeking a Title Clerk to join our team!
Responsibilities:
This individual will primarily be responsible for handling information regarding motor vehicle registration and process legal documents and other state-required documents. Organized, detail-oriented individual required with previous titling experience preferred.
- Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Prepares tax and title documents.
- Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles or from receiving dealership.
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
- Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
- Process payments made to titling agencies.
- Process duplicate title requests in Missouri and additional states, as necessary.
- Make lien payoffs
- Post car deals
- Post F & I products sold
- Process end of month payments
- Process vehicle state reports
- Record and maintain new and used inventory in Dealer Management System
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDK experience preferred
- Title work experience preferred
- Familiarity with DMV rules and requirements
- Knowledge of loan origination functions mandatory
- Knowledge of State Tax Codes
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers as well as employees
- Must successfully complete a background and drug screening
