Empire Automotive Group Cadillac of Long Island City is ready to elevate its pre‑owned operations with a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art facility and a large, diverse inventory — and we’re looking for the right high‑energy, results‑driven Used Car Sales Manager to lead the charge. If you know how to close deals, build lasting customer relationships, and manage inventory with precision, this is your moment.

Key Responsibilities – Inventory, Sales & Leadership

  • Own andoptimize all used car inventory to ensure profitability, accuracy, andfront‑line readiness.
  • Set andenforce appraisal standards, performing precise and consistent vehicleevaluations.
  • LeverageDealerSocket daily to manage leads, outbound communication, andopportunity flow.
  • Identifyand maximize trade‑in opportunities in partnership with the Used CarManager.
  • Useadvanced inventory tools and CRM systems to streamline operations andmaintain control.
  • Ensureprofessional vehicle presentation including stickers, plate frames,and wholesale management.
  • Serve asthe dealership’s used‑car product expert, mastering trims, tech, andkey packages.
  • Buildstrong customer relationships that drive repeat business and long‑termloyalty.
  • Executeconsultative selling, asking the right questions and guiding customersconfidently.
  • Resolvecustomer concerns quickly through CRM, phone, text, and email.
  • Deliverhigh‑impact vehicle demonstrations that influence buying decisions.
  • Maintainconsistent follow‑up with prospects, referrals, and past customers tofuel sales growth.
  • Continuouslysharpen sales skills, overcome objections, and excel in dynamicselling situations.
  • Lead byexample, bringing positivity, professionalism, and performance everyday

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Used Vehicle Expertise: Minimum 1 year of used car sales experience with strong product knowledge.
  • Dealership Sales Experience: At least 3 years in a dealership environment with proven results.
  • Professional Presence: Polished appearance and confident, business‑appropriate communication.
  • High‑Energy Work Ethic: Thrives in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
  • Customer‑First Mindset: Exceptional service skills that build trust and long‑term satisfaction.
  • Team Player: Positive, collaborative, and committed to collective success.
  • Growth‑Focused: Open to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible Availability: Able to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.
