POSITION: USED CAR MANAGER

Your Daily Work Schedule:
- Monitor and manage dealership inventory of used car vehicles.
- Daily review of outbound emails & incoming leads on used cars using Dealer Socket.
- Establish standards for appraising and performs the appraising function.
- Strong understanding of market conditions, learning new ways to acquire vehicles.
- Weekly communication with management on trade-in vehicles.
- Ability to help sales team effectively close customers and build relationships.
- Minimum of three years of experience in automotive sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability.
- Working knowledge of industry software and inventory management tools and CRM.
- Establishes recommended unit sales and dollar gross profit objectives for daily operating control.
- Organizes and directs sales meetings, counseling and training the sales force.
- “Walking the lot” making sure all cars are front-line ready: Year stickers, plate frames, line straight and adding and removing wholesale units.
- Approves sales contracts and assists in closing.
- Reviews advertising and promotional plans with salespersons
- Prepares forecasts for daily operating control.
Vehicle & Lease Management
- Address all "Needs Attention" items in V-Auto.
- Update the Used Car Route Sheet with unit recon needs.
- Send emails for off-lease units requiring purchase.
- Email regarding off-brand lease purchases if any trades occur.
- Monitor missed trade opportunities.
Pending & Appointments
- Review the pending list for deliveries involving trades.
- Confirm daily appointments and follow up with no-shows from the previous day.
Follow-Ups & Customer Interaction
- Conduct 1-on-1 follow-ups for unsold opportunities from the previous day. This includes fresh ups, phone ups, and email leads.
- Review inbound and outbound calls through Car Wars.
- Maintain communication with the BDC team.
Utilization & Logs
- Ensure Auto Packet Utilization for emails and showroom interactions before desking deals.
- Conduct early flybys and T.O.’s—ensure no customer leaves without proper engagement.
- Verify the disk log against Crowe, Phone Log, and F12 Deals.
- Perform daily checks on dealer websites.
- Verify the source for each customer while desking deals.
- Organize and check folders.
- Ensure keys are secured in the machine

Qualities we’re looking for:
- You have at least one year used vehicle sales experience and have a broad knowledge of all types of vehicles.
- You have three years of managing inventory at a dealership level.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Reliable and presentable in business attire, representing in a professional manner.
- You have a strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- You have experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
- You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
- You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.
- Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- You have strong computer and multitasking skills, which includes Microsoft Office.
- You will operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with a strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma or the equivalent
