What You'll Do:
As an Automotive Reconditioning Technician, you'll help ensure every pre-owned vehicle meets our high standards for safety, reliability, and appearance before it reaches the sales lot. You'll work in a modern shop with a collaborative team focused on quality—not rushing repairs.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive used vehicle inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns on a variety of makes and models
- Complete reconditioning repairs to dealership quality standards
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation
- Maintain shop equipment and tools, including lifts, tire machines, A/C equipment, and battery chargers
- Follow dealership repair procedures while maintaining efficiency and quality
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
What We're Looking For:
- At least two years of automotive technician or mainline repair experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing multiple makes and models
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned work efficiently
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Dependable and professional work history
- Willingness to learn new systems, technology, and repair techniques
- Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening
