Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a stable career in the automotive industry? We are seeking a motivated Automotive Warranty Clerk to join our busy Service Department. In this role, you'll help process manufacturer warranty claims, support our service team, and ensure repairs are accurately documented and submitted for reimbursement.

What You'll Do
Working closely with the Warranty Administrator, you will:
- Process and submit manufacturer warranty claims accurately and on time.
- Review repair orders to verify warranty eligibility and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain warranty records, service files, and supporting documentation.
- Gather customer and vehicle information and retrieve customer records as needed.
- Assist the Accounting Department with invoice coding, payroll support, and other administrative tasks.
- Book technician labor using manufacturer or nationally recognized labor time guides.
- Work with Service Advisors and Parts Department personnel to resolve billing discrepancies and correct repair orders.
- Assist the Service Manager with monthly closing procedures.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and professionalism.
- Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
- Protect confidential customer information in accordance with the FTC Safeguards Rule and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Training provided; previous automotive warranty experience is preferred but not required.
- General knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle operation.
- Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
