Job Description

We are seeking dependable Auxiliary Machine Operators/Filler with manufacturing or light machine operating experience. This position is responsible for machine setup, production support, quality inspections, and ensuring products meet customer specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
 

Open Positions

  • 1st Shift Auxiliary Machine Operator: 2 openings at $16.00/hour
  • 2nd Shift Auxiliary Machine Operator: 2 openings at $16.50/hour
  • 1st Shift Finisher: 1 opening at $14.50/hour
  • 2nd Shift Finisher: 1 opening at $14.50/hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely set up machines, dies, and materials to operate an up-and-down die-cutting press according to customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret work orders, job jackets, blueprints, and production requirements.
  • Verify job jacket information by cross-checking all contents for accuracy.
  • Calculate material yield to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Use calipers, measuring tapes, and rulers to perform quality inspections and measurements.
  • Operate and utilize Micro Vu equipment for inspection and verification processes.
  • Complete production and quality paperwork accurately, legibly, and on time.
  • Utilize the company's integrated ERP system to track labor hours and report production.
  • Schedule and prioritize daily workload to meet production goals.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and a clean work area.
  • Report machine malfunctions and equipment issues to management for repair scheduling.
  • Follow all Quality Environmental Management System  procedures and documentation related to the position.

Qualifications

  • Previous light machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures.
  • Basic computer skills for ERP system usage and production tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

    Safety Requirements

    • No loose jewelry permitted in the production area.
    • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
    • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed.
