About You
Are you an AVL nerd who gets a genuine thrill from seeing a job through to completion? Does your brain immediately start running through install details the moment you see design documents? Do you love solving problems on the fly and actually find troubleshooting satisfying rather than stressful?Do you want to do real AVL work, not the same boring install every day, without being away from home for weeks at a time?
If that's you, keep reading.
About the Job
Fresh Tech is an AVL integration company built to serve the local church. We design and install purpose-built audio, video, and lighting systems. We don’t do cookie cutters, no unnecessary complexity, just the exact right solution for each ministry we partner with.
We're offering a full-time Level 1 Installation Technician position to someone who brings real AVL install experience, moves fast, figures things out, and takes ownership of their work. Maybe that experience came from another integrator. Maybe you've been running AVL at a church and you're ready to use those skills to advance the mission of other churches. Either way, if you've done the work, we want to talk.
We are not a hand-holding or micromanaging operation. If you see a better way to do something, we want to hear it. We implement good ideas quickly, which means we need people who are flexible, fast learners, and comfortable with things moving at pace. We work hard and we have a lot of fun doing it.
Most of our work is local to western PA. Some travel is required, but we're not sending you away from your family for weeks at a time.
What It's Like to Work at Fresh Tech
Working at Fresh Tech won't be your run-of-the-mill corporate job. The last thing you'll hear here is "but that's the way we've always done it." We're continually working with new products, new manufacturers, and new challenges and we love it that way.
We live by our core values. They're not wall art — they shape every project, every decision, and every hire:
Honesty Always | We stay transparent, upfront, and clear at every step — even when it's inconvenient. Speak plainly and truthfully. |
Ministry First | We design like insiders because we are insiders. Every decision considers the real needs of the churches we serve. |
Future Forward | We implement solutions that grow with churches, not hold them back. Good ideas happen fast here — keep up. |
People First | We invest in long-term partnerships, not one-time transactions — with our clients and with our team. |
Elevate Everything | We look for every opportunity to make each project better, from design through training. Don't leave it at good enough. |

One thing I like about working at Fresh Tech is that we don’t do the same thing everyday; I’m always learning something new. The leadership really cares about us as individuals - they’re dedicated not just to the growth of the company, but also to our growth as individuals. - M.W.
