AV Installation Technician – Luxury Residential

    Programming in the "smart home" technology and luxury electronic/integration systems is one of the fastest growing roles in the US. 

    Become a part of a solid, growing, and elite company in this field. Premiere specializes in AV, lighting, shading, automation and networks. We are looking for a person who loves programming for the end user inside top-designed homes to join our team. 

    Pay ranges from $32 - $45/hr based on experience. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
    • Perform installation tasks for residential systems including low voltage wiring, speakers, TVs, networks, surveillance, access control, lighting, and shades
      Configure and commission networks, Savant and Crestron Home control systems, and Lutron Homeworks lighting systems 
    • Read and interpret schematics and spreadsheets 
    • Use hand and power tools to drill holes, crimp connectors, along with various other AV system-related tasks 
    • Communicate well with the project lead or project manager 
    • Travel to various job sites as required 
    • Produce professional work to company installation standards 
    Skills and Abilities 
    • Effectively communicate with colleagues and other trades on job sites 
    • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner 
    • Ability to work and think independently to meet project deadlines 
    • Basic computer knowledge 
    Education/Experience 
    • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent 
    • Formal education in electronics or related field is a plus 
    • Passion and interest in electronic systems or technology 
    • Valid Driver’s License and a clean motor vehicle record 
    • 2+ yr. Prior residential AV installation experience required
