We're seeking a skilled AV Services Technician to support a key client based in Philadelphia, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an AV professional who excels in field service work and enjoys solving real-time challenges in dynamic environments.

Position Overview:

As an AV Services Technician, you'll work closely with AVT's engineering and support teams to provide technical support, maintenance, installation assistance and troubleshooting for a wide range of AV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support for AV systems, including video conferencing, control systems, DSPs, displays, and streaming equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot AV issues for clients, with a primary focus on Philadelphia-based installations.
  • Monitor and support live events and meetings to ensure high-quality AV performance.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing, and end-user training.
  • Document service calls, updates, and solutions in internal ticketing systems.
  • Coordinate with AVT's home office and field teams in Kimberton, PA, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on AV experience, including field service or technical support.
  • Strong understanding of AV systems including AMX, Extron, Clear-One, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites in the Philadelphia area on a regular basis.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AVIXA CTS certification or relevant technical training.
  • Familiarity with IT/networking concepts relevant to AV installations.
