Smart Home Integration Technician

Audio Video Consultants Inc. is looking for a service and install technician who can rapidly and effectively develop and troubleshoot residential automation systems, communicate well, work in a team environment, and enjoys dynamic work environments. Thisexciting opportunity is based in Chester County, PA for one of the top A/V companies in the region. We work on high profile projects and we are looking for a key member of our service delivery team. If you are an AV Systems Programmer with Savant (and other automation systems), please read on!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, service and upgrade Savant and other residential automation systems. Will train if necessary.
• Installation, integration, troubleshooting and deployment of residential A/V, Security and Network Systems.
• Ability to assemble and wire racks.
• Performing unit and system tests to ensure system functions to specification
• Managing requisite job-site documentation to complete project
• Communicate with administrative, sales and other service delivery personnel to ensure customer expectations are met and scope of job is fully completed.
• Follow internal guidelines for system configurations
• Build from and mark-up engineering documents
• Work reliably and respect the project-site

Job Knowledge and Requirements:

• 2+ years relevant experience
• Strong customer service focus with strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Able to work well with a project team consisting of engineers, project managers and sales
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibilities

Compensation: $23.00 - $34.50 per hour
