We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. As an Audio-Visual Technician, you will play a crucial role in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for various events and presentations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality audio-visual experiences.Key Responsibilities:Equipment Setup and Operation:Install, set up, and operate audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, microphones, and video screens.Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of equipment before and during events.Event Support:Provide on-site technical support during events, conferences, and presentations.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure a seamless experience for clients and event attendees.Maintenance and Repairs:Perform routine maintenance on audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.Identify and address any equipment malfunctions or defects, coordinating repairs as necessary.Technical Expertise:Stay up-to-date on the latest audio-visual technologies and industry trends.Provide technical expertise and recommendations for equipment upgrades or improvements.Collaboration:Work closely with event planners, organizers, and other staff to understand audio-visual requirements for each event.Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure a seamless and coordinated audio-visual experience.Documentation:Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, configurations, and maintenance history.Create and update documentation for standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Audio-Visual Technician or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment, systems, and technologies.Proficiency in operating soundboards, video switchers, and related equipment.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support events.Education: Ascociate's degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Broadcasting, or a related field is preferred.
