Job Title: AVEVA System Platform SpecialistJob Overview
We are seeking an experienced AVEVA System Platform Specialist with 610 years of hands-on experience to support industrial automation and control systems environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AVEVA/Wonderware technologies, particularly System Platform 2023 R2 SP1, along with strong experience in system migrations, OEM integrations, and PLC connectivity.
This role requires strong technical capabilities, independence during critical system cutovers, and flexibility to support work outside standard business hours when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform system assessments and requirements analysis for AVEVA System Platform 2023 R2 SP1 implementations
- Install and configure AVEVA components, including:
- System Platform
- Operations and Integration
- InTouch HMI
- AVEVA Historian
- Develop and execute migration strategies from legacy platforms (e.g., System Platform 2014 R2)
- Establish and maintain integration points with external OEM systems via OPC/OPC UA
- Troubleshoot I/O connectivity issues within the System Platform ecosystem
- Execute system cutovers in alignment with client change management processes
- Work independently during critical deployments, including off-hours support when required
- Operate within privileged access environments (PAM) while adhering to security protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong experience with AVEVA System Platform (ArchestrA IDE)
- Hands-on experience with InTouch HMI configuration and implementation
- Experience with AVEVA Historian and Historian Client tools
- Proficiency in OPC / OPC UA communication protocols
- PLC integration experience with platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, or Mitsubishi
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server database management
- Experience with Windows Server administration
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows and ISA-95 standards
- Familiarity with change management processes
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with AVEVA Operations and MES/MOM solutions
- Knowledge of MQTT communication protocols
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of ITIL framework
- Experience with performance tuning for industrial software systems
- Knowledge of modern HMI/UX design principles
Work Environment- Industrial automation and control systems setting
- Involvement in critical system upgrades and migrations
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work during system cutovers
